The Catch Effort Data Return Information Capture software (CEDRIC) is an electronic logbook built in the early 2010's that enables permit holders to submit catch returns in line with the Fisheries Act 1996 and the Fisheries (Reporting) Regulations 2017 for a small selection of fishing methods (Trawl, Bottom Longline and Purse Seining).

As a custom-built Windows application, CEDRIC requires a vessel to have onboard internet. As such, CEDRIC is used primarily by large deep-sea trawlers.

Fishserve charges a monthly fee ($69.00 plus GST) only for the months where users submit a report. These are then added to the monthly Fishserve invoice.
