To administer the quota management system, Fishserve use an online Fisheries Management System which is referred to as the Fishserve Client Website. This website allows commercial fishing clients to:
Apply for fishing permits and to be a Licenced Fish Receiver
Register a vessel
Correct validation errors on trip reports
Correct data entry errors from trip reports
Submit Monthly Harvest Returns
Submit Monthly Receiver Returns
Make ACE and Quota transfers
Make ACE and Quota purchases
Run reports
The website also provides each client with their record of transactions and their current ACE balances. Tools and Calculators are connected to the website to support business planning.
The Fishserve Client Website is a web-based application with in-app purchases. A list of charges for transactions is available here.
Fishserve provides a client support service. This is open from 8am to 5pm (NZST) weekdays excluding public holidays and a short closedown period over Christmas.
